Type of Volunteer Service

Register Families for Assistance

Personally interact with those seeking Christmas assistance. Registration takes place at 16 Salvation Army centers in the Metroplex. Both English speaking and bilingual interviewers are needed.

Volunteer at a Mall

Check out Angel tags to donors and receive donated gifts when they are returned. Opportunities at nine shopping malls: Northpark, Valley View, Collin Creek, Golden Triangle, Grapevine Mills, Hulen, Ridgmar, Northeast.

Sort and Distribute Gifts

Sort gift bags and put them on shelves using a family code number, or retrieve gifts and help distribute them to recipient families at a Salvation Army Christmas Distribution Center.

Host an On-Site Angel Tree

Check out all the materials necessary to have an Angel Tree right at your own location. Includes Angel Tree tags listing the names of Metroplex children and a list of requested gifts.
